We exist to maintain the ecological and social vitality of
Northeastern Iowa for the future.
There is currently a proposal to establish a large-scale hog farm in Lansing, Iowa, that would be 3-building factory farm operation processing 13,000 hogs per year. The amount of waste would greatly threaten nearby Village Creek and jeopardize the health of this beautiful and productive land that we as a community love so much.
